It's hard to choose just one treatment from the luxe menu – facials, massages, body treatments, manicures, pedicures, pregnancy-tailored treatments and wellness therapies round out the list – so I tried the holistic customisable 30-minute facial (using La Prairie products – I had to!) and the Spa Wave 30-minute touchless therapy, because I needed to know more. We stayed during an average week, on an average rainy Wednesday, and even then it was a bustling hive full of affluent-looking guests, suited up diners making their way to fancy lunches at one of the many world-class restaurants and obliging Crown staff existing only to make your life oh-so easy, and this was just at check-in.
